De BrandstofEU maritieme verordening<\/strong> is het centrale instrument om de Europese scheepvaart koolstofvrij te maken. Vanaf 1 januari 2025 gelden bindende reductiedoelstellingen voor de broeikasgasintensiteit van scheepsbrandstoffen - een duidelijk stappenplan dat voorziet in een reductie van 80 % tegen 2050.<\/p>\n

Bio-LNG<\/strong> (vloeibaar biomethaan) is een drop-in brandstof die onmiddellijk kan worden gebruikt en die niet alleen voldoet aan de wettelijke vereisten, maar ook extra emissierechten<\/strong> kan genereren.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/h1>

Biomethaan spot deals voor de maritieme industrie: huidige prijzen in een oogopslag<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

De vraag naar biomethaan voor de maritieme industrie heeft een dynamische ontwikkeling doorgemaakt sinds de inwerkingtreding van FuelEU-Maritime in 2025. De stijgende prijzen voor biomethaan duurzaamheidscertificaten en bio-LNG geschikt voor maritieme toepassingen worden gedreven door de mogelijkheden van overtollige opwekking en het EU ETS systeem. Biomethaancertificaten die zijn geproduceerd uit landbouwmeststoffen en -residuen met een negatieve broeikasgaswaarde worden bijzonder belangrijk, omdat ze in het kader van FuelEU-Maritime een speciale positie innemen ten opzichte van andere hernieuwbare scheepsbrandstoffen.<\/p>\n

De volgende grafiek toont de spotprijzen voor biomethaan proof of sustainability (PoS) van gesubsidieerde feed-in installaties. De bewijzen hebben broeikasgaswaarden van -100 g CO\u2082eq\/MJ, -50 g CO\u2082eq\/MJ en +5 g CO\u2082eq\/MJ. Het biomethaan is geproduceerd uit substraten in overeenstemming met Bijlage 9 A\/B. Bovendien worden de BKG-waarden gegeven als well-to-tank emissies, waarbij emissies van bunkering en liquefactie - bijvoorbeeld op de site Zeebrugge - niet in rekening werden gebracht.<\/span><\/p>\n

De getoonde prijzen dienen als een huidige marktindicator voor gesubsidieerde duurzaamheidscertificaten voor biomethaan, die met name aantrekkelijk zijn in de maritieme industrie in het kader van het FuelEU Maritime en EU-ETS-systeem.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
