YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ✅

🧠 Architect of Modern Backend Systems

• Design and implement Portfolio Management core services (portfolio calculations, allocation pipelines, caching and aggregation).
• Build robust REST APIs and background workers integrating with MassbalanceConfig and related product models.
• Own CI/CD, container builds and production deployments (GitHub Actions → Azure).
• Ensure reliability: monitoring for 4XX/5XX, logging, alerts, and automated recovery.
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend (Next.js/React) teams to deliver customer-facing portfolio features.

YOUR PROFILE 📌

• 5+ years backend experience with Python (Flask or similar) and SQLAlchemy.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience (JSONB, schema design) and data modeling for calculation systems.
• Docker & container deployments; hands-on with GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD.
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred — App Service, Container Registry, Blob Storage).
• Observability skills: logging, metrics, alerting and error monitoring.
• Automated testing mindset (unit/integration tests, TDD where practical).

YOUR TECH STACK 🛠️

Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitHub Actions, Microsoft Azure, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Cypress, PyTest, Swagger/OpenAPI 

NICE TO HAVE ✨

• Background job systems (Celery/RQ/Kafka).
• Terraform / IaC, Kubernetes / AKS experience.
• Domain knowledge: GHG calculations, biomass/biogas, or mass-balance systems.
